Privacy

TLDRView is free to use. To sustain the platform, opted-in contributions may be used to improve TLDRView.

We store product analytics as first-party events in our own PostgreSQL database.

For anonymous visitors, analytics are cookieless and request-scoped only: no analytics cookie, no persistent anonymous identifier, and no fingerprinting.

We do not store client IP addresses long-term in analytics events.

For signed-in users, usage and contribution actions may be linked to account user ID.

If you explicitly opt in, your contributions may be used in curated datasets derived from TLDRView content and licensed as part of operating TLDRView.

Datasets are pseudonymized: your alias may be included as attribution, while login identity data is not included.

TLDRView may feature clearly labeled topic-level sponsorships. Sponsorships do not involve tracking or personalized advertising.

You can opt in or out at any time in Settings. Opting out is prospective and stops future dataset use, while contributions made during opted-in periods may remain in datasets already produced.

You retain applicable GDPR rights, including access, correction, erasure where applicable, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
